A night of native cocktail mixing and canapes

Join Sustainable Table at the bar for Twisted Tastes and learn how to give your favourite cocktails a native botanical twist.

The twisted affair will be held in the intimate private room at Gin Palace, Melbourne CBD, and hosted by head barman, talented mixologist and co-creator of Maidenii Vermouth, Shaun Byrne (pictured).

This two-hour interactive cocktail making class will have you mixing and drinking like a pro.

The cocktail and canapes menu will concentrate on four indigenous botanicals that can be grown in your own backyard - Mountain Pepper, Lemon Myrtle, Wattleseed and Strawberry Gum.

You will be divided into four groups to develop your own native botanical cocktails. Then it will be time to sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labour whilst indulging in matched native spiced canapes crafted by Chef Laine Brockwell.

The event is being held at The Gin Palace, 10 Russell Place on Tuesday 13th August from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.

Cost: $55 includes three cocktails, canapes and a hands-on cocktail making lesson (maximum capacity of 24 people).
