Gum disease linked to heart problems

Recent studies have shown that people who have any form of gum disease are put at twice the risk to have a stroke or heart attack.

How to look after your gums:

1. Increase your intake of vitamin C by consuming green, leafy vegetables and citrus fruits and, if needed, take up to 45mg of ascorbic acid powder.

2. Brush with tea tree oil toothpaste as it has proven antibiotic properties.
